Rotary Club Young Writer Competition

This year we entered the Rotary Club Young Writer competition with the support of Braunton Rotary Club.  We are very excited to announce that Chloe in Year 11 and Bea in Year 7 will be entered into the next stage of the competition for their entries on the theme of Happiness in Nature.  

We also want to celebrate EVERYONE that entered the competition.  The standard was exceptionally high this year and we were delighted with the number of entries from years 7 through to 11.  All entrants will receive a certificate for their efforts. The Rotarians were very  impressed with our entries and have said that it was a difficult task to decide our winners. An excellent effort by all! 

Even if you haven’t gone through to the next stage, please keep writing and don’t be disheartened! There are many more competitions to enter and be involved in - look out for posters around the school and notices from your tutors over the coming weeks.  

Huge thanks of course also goes to the Braunton Rotary Club for supporting our entries into the competition and reading all the students’ work. We look forward to welcoming Chris Nicholas to present a prize and certificate to our two winners soon.
