Southwest Schools Cross Country Championships

Last Saturday our runners took on the very muddy Exhibition Fields in Exeter — and what a brilliant effort from all involved.

Bea delivered a strong, consistent race in the Minor Girls category, finishing 40th overall and 4th Devon runner. Although the journey ends here for this age group, her future in the sport looks incredibly bright.

Carys followed with an impressive run, placing 53rd overall and 9th Devon. Combined with her previous 7th‑place finish, she has now qualified to represent Devon at English Schools in Liverpool on 14th March.

Kush, competing at the bottom of the Junior Boys age group, finished 61st overall and 10th Devon — earning a place on the reserve list for English Schools. We’re keeping everything crossed for him.
