Sports Captains Lead Successful Fundraising for Isaac Hall Displays
At the start of the year, our Sports Captains were set an exciting challenge: to raise funds to support and enhance the sports displays in the Isaac Hall. They embraced the task with enthusiasm, creativity, and real team spirit — and their efforts have certainly paid off.
Since January, students have organised and delivered a fantastic range of fundraising activities. From selling glow sticks at the Braunton fireworks event to hosting a popular bake sale, each initiative showcased their commitment to improving the PE environment for the whole school community.
One of the most impactful ideas came directly from the students themselves. The Sports Captains proposed and coordinated a non‑uniform day to further boost the fundraising total. Held on the final day of the Spring Term, Thursday 2nd April, the event was a great success and raised an impressive £520.75.
This achievement reflects not only the hard work of the Sports Captains but also the generosity and support of students, staff, and families across the school.
Well done to our Sports Captains, and thank you to everyone who contributed. Your support is helping to create a more vibrant and inspiring Isaac Hall for all.
