The Braunton team had a fantastic day taking on the Exmoor Challenge on Saturday — an endurance event that tested resilience, teamwork and determination from start to finish. Setting off in glorious sunshine and finishing in torrential rain, the team experienced the full force of Exmoor’s unpredictable weather, but their spirits never dipped.

A total of 124 teams took part in the challenge, covering 16 miles of demanding terrain. Along the route, participants faced eight timed checkpoints and a quiz to complete, adding an extra layer of strategy and focus to the physical test.

The Braunton team — Kush, Murphy, Sadie and Eliza — worked brilliantly together throughout the entire course. Their teamwork, pace and problem‑solving kept them consistently near the top of the leaderboard. With the top ten teams separated by only a handful of points, Braunton secured an impressive 5th place finish.

A huge well done to the whole team for representing the school with such determination and positivity. A brilliant achievement and a day they won’t forget.
