Year 7’s Harry Shines on the National Stage with Plymouth Argyle U13s
We’re incredibly proud to celebrate an outstanding sporting achievement from one of our Year 7 pupils. Over the weekend, Harry represented Plymouth Argyle U13s in the EFL Category 2/3 National Cup Finals, held in Tottenham.
This year marked a historic moment for Plymouth Argyle, as it was the first time the club had ever reached the finals. Not only did the team rise to the occasion, but they went all the way—winning the national title after competing against more than 50 teams from across the country.
Along the journey, they secured victories over strong sides including Cardiff, Stockport, and Barnsley, showcasing determination, teamwork, and impressive skill throughout the competition.
Harry played his part brilliantly in this remarkable campaign, and we are thrilled to see him achieving success at such a high level of youth football. It’s a fantastic accomplishment and a moment he—and the school—can be truly proud of.
Well done, Harry! We can’t wait to see what you do next.
