Hello, my name is David Liversedge and I am proud to be Head of Year 9. I have taught at Braunton Academy for 21 years, mainly within the Science Department. My team and I are passionate about supporting the journey of our pupils from children into young adults by the time they leave the academy. This is not limited to just academic support but also pastorally.

Observatory for Mathematical Education
In association with the University of Nottingham and the Observatory for Mathematical Education, our year 8 students are participating in a research project about mathematical education in secondary schools. This survey is designed to help us understand students’ feelings about maths, including how much they enjoy it and how they experience learning maths at school.
