Exciting New Addition to Technology & Engineering: Our 3D Printer Has Arrived!

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our brand-new 3D printer in the Technology & Engineering department!

This exciting addition will give students the opportunity to explore the world of design, engineering, and innovation in a hands-on and engaging way. From creating prototypes and solving real-world problems to bringing imaginative ideas to life, 3D printing opens up endless possibilities for creativity and learning.

Students will be able to develop valuable skills in design thinking, problem-solving, and digital manufacturing, while gaining experience with technologies that are increasingly used across a wide range of industries.

To make the most of this fantastic new resource, we are also hoping to launch a CAD and 3D Printing Club in September. The club will provide students with the chance to learn computer-aided design (CAD), experiment with 3D modelling software, and create their own printed projects.

Whether students are interested in engineering, product design, architecture, or simply enjoy making things, this promises to be an exciting opportunity to develop new skills and unleash their creativity.
