Carys Shines at English Schools Cross Country Championships

Last weekend, Carys proudly represented our school — and Devon — at the English Schools Cross Country Championships in Liverpool, delivering an outstanding performance on one of the biggest stages for young runners in the country.

Competing against 349 of the strongest young athletes from across England, Carys placed an impressive 166th overall, showcasing determination, resilience, and true competitive spirit throughout a challenging course and tough conditions.

Even more impressively, Carys finished as the 3rd fastest runner from Devon, a remarkable achievement that highlights her talent and hard work this season.

We are incredibly proud of Carys and the dedication she continues to show in her training and competitions. Representing both the school and the county at such a prestigious event is an honour, and her results speak for themselves.
