Miss Logan - Rugby Success at Twickenham
Okehampton Women RFC ended their season in spectacular fashion after being crowned champions of the IPF Tournament at the Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, on Sunday, May 31.
Among those proudly representing the team was Miss Logan, Assistant Head of Year, who took part in this special and meaningful event. The squad travelled to Twickenham — the iconic home of English rugby — to compete in a tournament organised in support of the RFU Injured Players Foundation. This important charity provides vital support to players who have suffered life-changing spinal cord or traumatic brain injuries through the game.
The team delivered an outstanding performance throughout the tournament, ultimately securing the championship title against strong competition. Their victory was made even more remarkable by their efforts off the field, as they raised an incredible £10,000 for the charity.
This achievement marks the perfect conclusion to what has already been a highly successful season for Okehampton Women RFC, who were also crowned NC1 South West League Winners.
We are incredibly proud of Miss Logan and all she has accomplished alongside her team. Her dedication, teamwork, and success are a fantastic source of inspiration for our school community.
Congratulations to Okehampton Women RFC on a truly memorable season!
