Braunton Celebrates Another Outstanding Athletics Season

Braunton has once again enjoyed a highly successful athletics season, with students demonstrating exceptional talent, dedication, and team spirit across a range of competitions.

League Success

Our athletes delivered superb performances in the North Devon League, securing championship titles in multiple categories:

Year 9 Girls – League Champions
Year 10 Girls – League Champions
Year 10 Boys – League Champions

These achievements are a testament to the hard work and commitment shown by our students throughout the season.

Championship Winners

Braunton also excelled at the North Devon Athletics Championships, with our athletes claiming top honours and further highlighting the strength and depth of talent within the team.

Regional Achievement

At the prestigious English Schools Track and Field Cup, both our Inter Boys and Inter Girls teams performed brilliantly, achieving 3rd place finishes across the South West. Competing against some of the strongest schools in the region, this is a fantastic accomplishment and a reflection of the high standard of athletics at Braunton.

A huge well done to all of our athletes who have trained, competed, and proudly represented Braunton this season. Your effort, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship have made this year another memorable one.

We now look forward to Sports Day on Friday 26th June, which promises to be a fantastic occasion and a celebration of all things sport at Braunton. With the weather set for a cracking day, it’s sure to be an event not to be missed!
