Work Experience 2026: Inspiring Futures
During the week commencing 18th May, our Year 10 students took part in an exciting and enriching Work Experience Week, gaining invaluable insight into the world of work.
Throughout the week, students had the opportunity to attend placements across a wide range of industries. From healthcare and education to engineering, retail, hospitality, and creative sectors, each placement offered hands-on, purposeful experiences that helped students develop key skills and build confidence. Many students embraced new challenges, met industry professionals, and gained a clearer understanding of potential career pathways.
These experiences not only highlighted the importance of workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, but also inspired students to think about their future aspirations. Feedback from students has been overwhelmingly positive, with many describing the week as both enjoyable and highly beneficial.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the employers and organisations who generously gave their time and support to host our students. Your willingness to provide these opportunities plays a vital role in helping young people prepare for life beyond school, and we are truly grateful for your continued partnership.
