Junior Music Festival at The Landmark Theatre

A group of our students had the wonderful opportunity yesterday to take part in the Junior Music Festival at The Landmark Theatre. This collaborative event brought together pupils from local primary schools to perform as a large combined choir, alongside a number of instrumentalists, in a celebration of music-making and community spirit.

Our students were delighted to support the primary school performers, joining them for the massed choir pieces while also performing a piece of their own. It was inspiring to see so many young musicians working together and enjoying the experience of performing in such a highly respected venue which acts as a major hub for the arts in North Devon.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the primary schools and staff who organised the festival and invited us to be part of such a special event. The planning, preparation and hard work involved in bringing together so many schools was clear to see, and we are very grateful for the opportunity to participate.

Finally, congratulations to the students who represented Braunton Academy so brilliantly. Despite being a small group, they performed with enthusiasm and professionalism throughout the day, and they should be extremely proud of their contribution to a fantastic concert.
