Year 7 Students Shine in Illustration Competition
We are delighted to announce the winners of our recent Illustration Competition, which challenged students to create a fully illustrated 12-page picture book.
The competition showcased an incredible range of creativity, imagination and artistic talent, making the judging process extremely difficult. Students rose to the challenge, producing engaging stories accompanied by beautiful illustrations that demonstrated both skill and dedication.
We are thrilled to congratulate Matilda, a Year 7 student, who was selected as the overall winner of the competition. As her prize, Matilda will receive a signed illustration from acclaimed illustrator Joseph Witchall. Her picture book impressed the judges with its creativity, storytelling and artistic quality.
Congratulations also go to Temecula, also in Year 7, who was named runner-up. Temecula's submission was another standout entry, showcasing excellent artistic ability and a wonderful approach to visual storytelling.
Both students produced truly outstanding pieces of work, and we are incredibly proud of their achievements. Their picture books reflected the imagination, effort and enthusiasm that made this year's competition such a success.
A huge well done to all the students who took part. The standard of entries was exceptionally high, and it was inspiring to see so many young artists embracing the challenge of creating a complete illustrated book from start to finish.
Congratulations once again to Matilda and Temecula on their fantastic achievements! 🎨📚✨
