Year 7 Girls Enjoy Rugby Taster Session in Bideford
On Friday 21st November, a group of our enthusiastic Year 7 girls travelled to Bideford to take part in a special rugby taster session.
🌟 A Fun and Engaging Introduction
The session was designed to introduce young girls to contact rugby in a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment. Over the course of the event, the girls took part in a variety of fun activities that helped them build confidence, learn new skills, and experience the excitement of the sport. Coaches guided them through drills and challenges before giving them the chance to put their skills into action in small-sided games.
💪 Building Skills and Confidence
The day wasn’t just about rugby techniques — it was also about teamwork, resilience, and having fun together. The girls showed fantastic energy and enthusiasm, embracing every challenge with smiles and determination.
👏 A Positive Experience
By the end of the session, the group had thoroughly enjoyed themselves and left with a greater appreciation for the sport. The event highlighted how rugby can be both inclusive and empowering, encouraging more young girls to get involved.
We’re proud of our Year 7 girls for their participation and look forward to seeing how this experience inspires them to continue exploring rugby in the future.
