Students Shine in the UK Maths Trust Challenge
On 28th January, sixty of our students took on the UK Maths Trust Challenge, demonstrating impressive problem‑solving skills and a real enthusiasm for mathematical thinking. Their hard work paid off, with thirty‑eight students earning bronze, silver, or gold certificates — a fantastic achievement that reflects both talent and dedication.
We are also delighted to share that six students have qualified for the prestigious Kangaroo round. Representing Year 9 are Judah, Rosie, and Jackson, while Lennon, Finlay, and Archie will be flying the flag for Years 10 and 11. The Kangaroo round will take place on Thursday 19th March, and we wish all six students the very best as they prepare for the next stage.
A huge well done to everyone who took part. Your commitment to challenging yourselves and celebrating mathematics is something the whole Academy is proud of.
