Maya and Charlotte Shine at South West Copper Gymnastics Competition

This weekend, two of Braunton’s talented gymnasts took to the floor at the South West Copper Gymnastics competition—and their performances were nothing short of inspiring.

Maya competed in the Under 14s category and delivered a strong all-round showing, finishing 5th overall. Her standout moment came on the beam, where she secured an impressive 4th place, demonstrating poise, balance, and determination.

Charlotte, in the Under 16s category, soared to a 4th place overall finish, with a particularly brilliant routine on the bars earning her 3rd place. Her strength and precision were clear to see and earned well-deserved recognition from the judges.

Both girls represented themselves with pride, skill, and sportsmanship. Their achievements reflect the hard work they’ve put in during training and their passion for the sport.
