UK Maths Trust Success in the Junior Kangaroo Round

We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students who recently took part in the UK Maths Trust Junior Kangaroo Round, held on Tuesday 9th June.

The Junior Kangaroo is a prestigious follow-on competition designed for high-performing students who have excelled in the Junior Mathematical Challenge. It provides an exciting opportunity for pupils to further test their problem-solving skills and mathematical thinking against some of the brightest young minds across the country.

This year, our students rose to the challenge admirably, and we are especially proud to recognise the following exceptional results:

Kush – Gold Award

Josh – Bronze Award

Eva  – Bronze Award

William  – Bronze Award

Kush's Gold Award is an outstanding accomplishment, placing them amongst the top performers nationally. This result reflects not only strong mathematical ability, but also perseverance, logical reasoning, and a flair for tackling complex problems under pressure.

Equally commendable are the Bronze Awards achieved by Josh, Eva, and William. Each of these students demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills and determination, earning well-deserved recognition in a highly competitive field.

Participation in the Junior Kangaroo Round is itself a significant achievement, and all students who took part should feel incredibly proud of their efforts. Competitions like this encourage students to develop confidence, resilience, and a deeper appreciation for mathematics beyond the classroom.

We congratulate all of our participants for their hard work and enthusiasm, and we look forward to seeing their continued success in future mathematical challenges.
