Schools Swim Gala – A Fantastic Show of Talent and Team Spirit

This year’s Schools Swim Gala proved to be another fantastic and closely contested event, with both Braunton and Ilfracombe ultimately crowned joint winners after an exciting series of races.

We are incredibly proud of all the Braunton Academy students who took part, representing the school with enthusiasm, determination, and excellent sportsmanship throughout the competition. Their efforts in the pool were matched by their support for one another, creating a brilliant team atmosphere on the day.

A special congratulations must go to our junior girls and inter girls teams, who both delivered outstanding performances to secure victories in their respective categories. Their success is a testament to their hard work and commitment.

Congratulations are also extended to Ilfracombe, who claimed victory in the junior boys category, and to West Buckland for their strong performance in winning the inter boys competition.

A big thank you goes to Mr Liversedge, who led the teams and managed them so effectively throughout the event. His organisation and support played a key role in ensuring such a successful and enjoyable gala for everyone involved.
