This Week at Tyspane: Quiz Champions and VR Adventures

This week at Tyspane was packed with energy, curiosity, and a healthy dose of friendly competition. We kicked things off with a lively quiz that had everyone thinking fast and laughing even faster. The atmosphere was brilliant, and the students and residents threw themselves into it with real enthusiasm.

To everyone’s delight, Jacqui—our wonderful Activities Manager—announced that we had won the quiz! Spirits were high, and the celebration got even sweeter when the students were rewarded with toothbrushes as a fun and practical prize. A small moment, but one that brought big smiles.

After the quiz, the excitement continued as students and residents got hands-on with our VR headsets. For some, it was their first time stepping into a virtual world, and the reactions were priceless. From exploring new places to interacting with immersive experiences, the session sparked curiosity and connection across generations.

All in all, it was another fantastic visit to the care home—full of learning, laughter, and shared moments that remind us why these weekly visits matter so much.
