Year 9 Girls Shine at County Competition in Exeter

Our Year 9 girls’ netball team represented Braunton Academy with pride and determination at the County Competition in Exeter today.

Outstanding Performance in the Pool Stage

The girls started the day in fantastic form, winning their pool without losing a single game. Their teamwork, skill, and resilience were clear to see as they dominated each match and secured a place in the semi-finals.

Narrowly Missing Out on the Final

In a tense semi-final, the team fought hard but were narrowly defeated by just one goal. Despite the heartbreak of missing out on a final spot, the girls showed incredible spirit and sportsmanship throughout.

Their efforts earned them an impressive 3rd place finish overall, a result that reflects their commitment and talent. More importantly, they played excellently as a team, supporting one another and demonstrating the values that make Braunton Academy proud.
