Year 7 Rugby Team Celebrate Victory in Their First Academy Fixture

Our Year 7 rugby team took to the field this evening for their very first fixture representing the Academy, facing a strong and well‑drilled Pilton side. Despite the tough opposition, the boys rose to the challenge with determination, teamwork and real passion for the game.

In a closely contested match, the team showed impressive skill and resilience, eventually securing a 7–5 victory. The standard of rugby on display was outstanding, especially for a first outing, and every player contributed to a performance they can be proud of.
