GCSE Drama Students Explore Careers in the Film Industry

On Wednesday, our GCSE Drama students had an exciting opportunity to attend the Film Devon Careers Event at North Devon College, where they gained a valuable insight into the many career opportunities available within the film and television industry.

Students met and spoke with a range of industry professionals, including costume designers who have worked on the latest Star Wars films and members of the production crew from the renowned Blue Planet series. The event provided a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the creative and technical roles involved in bringing major productions to life.

The experience helped students broaden their understanding of the industry and inspired them to think about the many pathways that could be available to them in the future.

As our Drama students continue their GCSE journey, we would like to wish our Year 11 Drama students the very best of luck as they complete their Component 2 Practical Examination in school next week. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, commitment, and creativity, and we look forward to seeing them showcase their talents.

Good luck Year 11.
