Additional Inset Days

This year there has been a considerable increase in the level of training that has been directed by the Department for Education for all staff to complete. We are also waiting on the publication of changes to the National  Curriculum which staff will need time to implement.  For this reason the  Trustees have supported the school by agreeing two additional inset training days to complete this vital training.  For this reason the Academy will be closed to students on the following two days: 

Friday 4th December 2026 
Monday 15th March 2027 

We appreciate that this can cause inconvenience for some families but it is also essential that staff get adequate time for continued professional development to support all students learning.
