A Warm Welcome at Our Annual Open Evening

Last night, we were delighted to welcome Year 5 and Year 6 pupils and their families to our Annual Open Evening. The event was extremely well attended, and it was wonderful to see so many prospective students exploring our school and experiencing everything we have to offer.

A huge thank you must go to all of our students who gave up their time to support the evening. Whether acting as tour guides, helping departments with activities, performing, or simply sharing their experiences with visitors, they were fantastic ambassadors for the school. Their enthusiasm, confidence and pride in their school helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the evening.

The event began with presentations from Mrs Bowler, Principal, alongside our Principal Students, Marnie and Harry, who spoke about life at the school and the many opportunities available to our students. Their presentations provided families with a valuable insight into our values, achievements and aspirations for the future.

Following the presentations, visitors were invited to explore the school and take part in a wide range of activities across different departments. There was something for everyone, including creative arts activities, food tasting, 3D printing demonstrations, exciting science experiments, opportunities to try a piano or keyboard, drama performances by current students, and chances to have a go at chess, badminton and climbing.

Prospective students also enjoyed taking part in a treasure hunt around the school, encouraging them to discover different areas and learn more about the subjects and opportunities available.

It was a fantastic evening with a brilliant atmosphere throughout the school. We would like to thank everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success. We look forward to welcoming many of our visitors back in the future as members of our school community.
