The Eco Club students have been getting their hands dirty for a great cause this summer as part of the Gardening for Good programme at Arlington Court, delivered by The Gardeners Co. This inspiring initiative gives young people the opportunity to connect with nature, learn practical skills, and contribute to meaningful community projects.

This week, the students took on an exciting and creative challenge: building a children’s garden playhouse. With teamwork, enthusiasm, and a lot of elbow grease, they constructed a charming and sturdy structure that will bring joy to young visitors for years to come.

The playhouse is part of a wider effort to make the gardens at Arlington Court more engaging and family-friendly. It’s designed to spark imagination and encourage outdoor play, blending beautifully with the natural surroundings.

The Gardeners Co. have been guiding the students through each step of the programme, offering hands-on learning experiences in sustainable gardening, carpentry, and environmental stewardship. The playhouse project is just one of many activities planned to help students develop confidence, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for the environment.

Stay tuned for more updates as the Eco Club continues their green journey at Arlington Court!
