Farewell to year 11
GCSE exams are finally over and we have said goodbye to our year 11s. Following the final maths exam, students gathered in the arena behind Isaac Hall where they signed each others' shirts (something of a tradition at school), enjoyed hot dogs and burgers and said their goodbyes and thankyous to the teaching staff. Mr. Cammack spoke to the group, wishing them all the best of luck for their future education and employment. It's always a poignant moment for students and staff alike as we reflect on the past five years and marvel at how 150 small and timid eleven year olds have grown and developed into bright and promising young adults, eager to take their place in the grown-up world. Best wishes to all, and we look forward to seeing them at the prom next week.
